RX•SEARCH UI

This search engine interface provides simple search functionality for testing the autocomplete implementation with UI-tags and custom properties.

Search terms are matched against all fields or significant fields if there is a match for a search term in the data. Matches are therefore more relevant.
There is no filtering and faceting available for demonstration purpose.

Search results are displayed below the interface component. Click the button on the right side, to open full record view.

A typical record consists of following fields: ID, Language, Country Code, Notation, Person, Title, Subtitle, Editor, Place, Publisher, Date.

Terms / Keywords / Entities
Autocomplete gives you keyword suggestions from the total dataset of records. The user can add as many keywords as liked.
Try (simulation mode):
Enter: «mozart» – Hint: «Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus» (entity)
Enter: «nachtmusik» – Hint: «nachtmusik» (term)
Enter: «hesse» – Hint: «Hesse, Hermann» (entity)

Autocomplete (in simulation mode) understands entities and provides the corresponding categorisation for this entry. Predefined entities: Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus; Berlin; Freytag und Berndt; Hesse, Hermann; Mozartquartett; Mozartensemble

Visualisation
A search term / keyword may appear in different fields in a dataset. The stack bar visualisation indicates a statistical dissemnination for a specific term.

UI-Tags
A search term / keyword is represented as tag after selection from the autocomplete dialog. Each tag opens a dialog window on click for further options (categorisation, matching options).

Simulated Data
Provides simulated autocomplete suggestions.

Real Data
Provides autocomplete suggestions from real data. Search is therefore activated.

Size
Limit the list of suggestions

Faceting
Options used for faceted search (date and language are preselected values). Deactivated in this application.
